Tips for Hair Regrowth [External]
1. Hang Your Head
Lie on your back on the bed, and hang your head over the edge. Let it hang as low as possible, and stay in that position for 5 minutes. The inverted position will increase blood flow nicely.
2. Do Yoga
With Yoga, you spend a lot of time doing inversion poses where your head hangs lower than the rest of your body. This is more effective than hang down your head and helps to promote healthy blood flow to your scalp.
3. Take a cold shower
Cold temperatures stimulate an increase of blood flow, as your body sends warm blood to try and heat up the cold body parts. Take a cold shower and let the water hit your scalp directly. It may sting a bit at first, but it’s great for improving scalp circulation.
4. Get a Workout
If you want to stimulate blood flow anywhere in your body, the best way to do so is by exercising. Hit the treadmill, and you’ll find that the cardio exercise keeps your heart pumping and your blood flowing nicely.
5. Brush Your Hair
Sounds almost too good to be true, but brushing your hair stimulates not just hair growth but improved circulation as well. Remember DON’T brush too hard or too many strokes, 10x2 times every day should be enough to get the blood flowing.
6. Massage the Scalp
Use the tips of your fingers to give your scalp a gentle massage. You should feel your fingers dig into the scalp, and really massage that skin to stimulate an increase in your circulation (I usually do this step with hair growth stimulation serum during the shower).
There're a variety of products available in the market claimed to stimulate hair growth and nourish hair follicles. In fact, most of the chemicals work to stimulate hair growth are only by increasing blood circulation in the scalp. Frequent usage will cause side effects such as dryness and itchy scalp.
Therefore, I will recommend choosing anti-hair loss products that contain natural ingredients such as Ginger and Ginseng to stimulate blood circulation on the scalp.
Ginger
It can help increase the blood flow through the scalp, which improves the growth of hair follicles. Ginger roots are known to have magnesium, potassium, and phosphorus, and vitamins which can make the hair stronger, healthier, and shiner. It can aid hair growth by preventing hair loss, controls dandruff, tackles dryness, improve circulation and blood flow, and nourishes hair with fatty acids.
Ginseng
Ginseng is said to be able to help stimulate circulation in the scalp, and as a result, increases the flow of blood, oxygen, and nutrients to the hair follicles there. It is also supposed to help remove build-up and unclog the follicles, allowing hair strands to plump up and grow in more thickly. A good news for those with thinning hair or irritated scalps: you may benefit from using shampoo and serum that contains ginseng.
* Avoid using Ginger and Ginseng directly on the scalp
Natural ingredients are always better when it comes to a nourishing hair routine. Besides being a sign of purity, it also evolves your regime in a wholesome manner.
